I guess the Skins know how to manage the cap. But they're not nearly as good at evaluating the talent they get for all that money, or building the team chemistry needed to win in the NFL.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

The Bills don't know how to manage the cap and they also aren't good at evaluating talent.

Buffalo can't use the Skin's model and they shouldn't.

              Dead on.

tight end Christian Fauria and backup quarterback Todd Collins. Both signed contracts reportedly worth $810,000 in base salary and signing bonuses less than a million dollars combined.

Adam Archuleta, Randle El and Andre Carter received deals worth roughly $30 million over six years, with a $5 million signing bonus; their deals are nearly identical. So lets look at what Randle El got

              The deal:
$31M over 7 years including $11.5M in guaranteed money.

The Skins may know how to balance the books but look at the players they signed for the big $$. That's just Dumb Spending 101.

That Randle El contract was a work of art.

I disagree with you on both counts, but without being disagreeable. Your statement may have been true under Donahoe, but I think if we give the Marv regime another season or two, we'll be a playoff team again.

It takes a little time to go from a 5-11 joke to a postseason team.

And that's why I posted it. The fact that they don't have an eye for talent is a complete separate issue.
