head injury, will not return tonight they just reported it on MSG. I swear that hit was just like the hit that Patty LaFontaine took that ended his hockey career.

It was, but this one was dirtier...very late! This shows the lack of respect around the NHL for the Sabres. They don't have the grit and toughness that other teams fear. DARCY - GET SOME HELP IN HERE FOR THE PLAYOFFS...NOW!

Patty took a much larger elbow from Franscwa larouix than Drury.

I dont remember seeing him unconscious, It wasnt an Elbow Either, it was a Shoulder, and UNLIKE what Barry Melrose is Saying, the ICE DID NOT cut his head, the Visor or Part of the Helmet Did, He was Bleeding on the way down.

No elbow, but a disgusting blindsiding late hit.

I believe so. It looked like a massive cheap shot and then he slammed his head on the ice after the hit.

Actually, Murray even said it was an elbow to the head but that the arm was against his body...load of crap.

He certainly did not connect with the elbow but he did make that type of follow through. It was a late hit and a blindside hit. Dirty as hell.
