At wide receiver, speed seemed to be the issue of the day. Johnnie Lee Higgins (http://www.footballsfuture.com/2007/prospects/johnnie_lee_higgins.html) (UTEP) suggested that he wanted to run his 40 in the 4.1 range, a total that would certainly drop some jaws. He’s apparently run a 4.18 in the past.

Let's see what he runs tomorrow before we give him a Holy God

It's a forty time. Big Deal. Unless, of course, he plans on going #1 in the Professional Combine League draft this year.

He's not saying he'll be an awesome WR but thats insanely fast 40, something I cant even contemplate.

He would be tough to cover off the line and would get ALOT of room, that's for sure.

Good one! Nice to see somebody trying to step up and fill The_Philster's shoes in his absence. Can't wait for the 'anybody who knows anything about the game of football' comments to start flowing.

It's a forty time...I'm not impressed if the guy pulls it off at football practice, so sue me.

Was simply posting an impressive blurb. I never said it would translate to him being drafted in the 1st round or something.

I know its unimpressive, 6-0 185 pound WR's run that all the time. But then again you probably already......lol nevermind.

4.48

That's probably close enough at UTEP.

Another impressive stat... Yard Rat is able to bore me in 3.18 seconds. One second faster than Higgins can run the 40.

I'm hoping to break the three second mark at the Message Board Combine next month.
