Calvin Johnson just became a lock.

He decided to run the 40 at the last minute and borrowed a pair of running shoes. The result: 4.31 seconds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anthony Gonzalez did a nice job too. 4.44 with a 38 inch vertical and we know he has good hands and is smart

      actually 4.35

      Calvin Johnson impresses with a 4.35 40-time

Calvin Johnson lived up to expectations and blazed an official 4.35 40-yard dash at today's combine. An amazing time for someone 6'5" and 239 pounds.

ESPN reported 4.31 and 4.35. But at this point it's still unbelievable for a guy this big. Now I offcially want him.

He'll be gone long before our pick. And I'd be extremely PO'd if we moved up to draft another WR.

                  Damn man.

                  6'5" and a 4.3 forty.

                  That's sick.

You could basically just throw it up for grabs with this guy.

If you saw him run, you could tell he was actually a bit slow of the block. I could see him running in the 4.2s easily. Also, Peterson looked like an absolute beast. He is one of the most impressive physical specimens I have ever seen. Too bad he has the injury problem.

Lets not get carried away. 4.2 easily? He is the best WR I've ever seen to come out of college. This is 1 of the most impressive drafts I've seen in a while. Teams that have alot of picks on day 1 should be very happy for the next few years. The draft is very strong at the top 32 and is also very deep. All this talent and a guy like Russell is going to be the #1 pick? Raiders crack me up.

He ran a 4.35 and I said he could improve it to the 4.2s (meaning 4.20-4.29). If he runs it again, I'll bet you 500 ZB he comes in under 4.3.

He borrowed shoes. The guys on NFL Network said he got out slow. I think he could do 4.2.
