Now that we don't have to worry about DE/DT (Carriker/Okoye out of the picture) Willis is a lock for us at 12. He will do what DeMeco Ryans did as a rookie in Houston. Willis is all heart, he will be a leader on this D for years to come!

Why wouldn't we have to worry about DT? I mean, I want Willis, but I'm curious why you think Okoye is out of the picture.

We have Tripplett McCargo Williams and Anderson why draft at a position that has enough talent to be effective? We have other glaring holes!

Okoye will be gone before 12

So our group of awful DTs is going to magically be good next season? Not likely.

And if we resign fletcher?

And if we resign fletcher?

Then we can keep our stout run defense in place, which will be even more affective without our number 1 corner back  a defense that gives up 200+ yards rushing, and 400+ passing. With our top offensive line, and our stud running back we're going to bowl

I'd be suprised if we took a DT or a LBer. Our starting linebackers are good, very good. Alot of teams would love to have Spikes, Crowell and Ellison as their starting linebackers. Yes we need depth but taking a guy for depth in the 1st round isn't smart unless you have 5 1st round picks. As far as DT. We just signed Triplett and traded up to draft McCargo. They're not going to give up on both of these guys after 1 season. I think it's pretty much a lock that we draft CB unless 1 of the top guys falls.

What if Spikes isn't 100%??? And all of those LBs are probably better suited for OLB and not MLB. Patrick Willis is crazy fast with a 4.49 40...that makes him faster than some RBs...add to that that he's 6'2", 240 lbs (Spikes size) and you have a terrific "attacking" playmaker that we need for our defense and to improve the Run D!!!

CBs for zone coverage are easier to find since they get help from the safeties and don't have to worry about man to man coverage and keeping step by step with them...besides, that's what we drafted Youboty for last year and he's had a year into our system that a rookie CB won't have had...we didn't draft him to stay on the bench...

I'm not sure. I think he might be serious. In any case, Tim Anderson is a warm body, not talent. He was tendered for insurance, and will not necessarily prevent the Bills from going after a good DT. I think the Kelsay signing does make it far less likely the Bills would draft a DE high.

Levy is happy with our D that much is evident he'll improve the OL in round 1, pickup a LB in round 2, and a CB in round 3. Watch and see.

1. Brown
2. Siler
3. Houston

Levi Brown will NOT be on the board at 12.. There is a better chance that Okoye is on the board than Brown.
