    Small school LB's that impressed

    Heres some guys to watch:

Small school linebackers shine at combine

Relative unknown linebackers Antwan Barnes and Zak DeOssie had impressive workouts at the combine.

Barnes, an outside linebacker from Florida International, put on an impressive display of speed and strength. He led all linebackers with a 4.40 40-yard dash and finished second among his peers with 31 reps of the 225 bench. At 6'1" 240 pounds he has the size, speed, and strength scouts love.

DeOssie, a huge linebacker from Brown, showed amazing speed for someone his size. After weighing in at 6'5" and 250 pounds he went out and ran a 4.53 40-time.

    Interesting.

The DeOssie kid has an NFL pedigree. I think his dad was a LB for the Cowboys, Patriots and Giants.

DeOssie is a former ball boy at training camp for the Patriots and is good friends with Bill Belichick's daughter, Amanda.

Man, if we could pick up a small school steal in the 3rd-4th round at LB, I'd be absolutely stoked.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?

i really like Zak Deossie as a 6th or 7th round pick he will add nice depth and he is a good special teamer which will allow us to get rid of players like a Sam Aiken to make room for a George Wilson
