All these young players just stepping in without any issue. Is ruff that good of a coach? I have never seen anything like this team. This is unreal, now the young players are stepping up and looking like leaders. A new Hero every night. Im starting to think that we could move on without Drury or Briere without missing the beat. To think at one time i wanted Lindy gone.

It is just remarkable how well these rookies are playing, they look like NHL vets at some points.. I'm BUYing into this system as well“You hold a players only meeting and get each guy to stand up and say what he can bring to the table... and if he doesn't, you punch him in the face.” ~~ Harry Neale, on how to fix the Sabres season.

Having a roster half-filled with Amerks is looking like a positive at the moment. The young guys are playing hard because they want to prove they can play at this level, at the time of the season where vets may not go all out every night because of the toll of the long season and wanting to save a little for the playoffs.YardRat Wall of Fame

Re: Im really starting to by into the "system"
its definitely surreal
they are basically half an ahl team. yet they take a very good and very hot division rival to the brink and lose on a fluke goal. they take on a team desperate for pts and cream them
its the stuff sports fan fantasies are made of, not real lifeOne set of rules for all in the beloved community
