Kansas City Star : "That’s not typical money for a starting quarterback, but the mere decision to re-sign Huard would seem to indicate the Chiefs have opted for him instead of Green to battle against Brodie Croyle to be next year’s starting quarterback. A source also told The Star the Chiefs have called other teams offering Green in a trade."

Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the Kansas City Chiefs have agreed to a three-year contract with QB Damon Huard. Huard wouldn't reveal terms, but the deal is believed to be worth approximately $7.5 million. Huard was scheduled to become a free agent. The signing of Huard puts QB Trent Green's return in question.Comment

They are crazy, I'd keep him till he breaks again.. Although he is old and expensive...
