All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
I want to see buffalo get a bruiser at running back
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
30 total TD's last time he was healthy. If his leg is healed, he will be a steal in round 2
I like Bush as well. I like that he catches the ball well and has the quick feet that a big back needs. People don't realize how good a receiver he is, but in college they would split him out wide at times.
I also think trading 2 seconds for Turner is a good deal for both teams and SD might go for it. I think very highly of Turner and think he can be a feature back. The only caveat is if you give up that to get him then you should be able to work out a contract extension beforehand as part of the deal.
We obviously are getting a RB in the draft it's just a matter of where. The Bills are going to approach this much like how they got Thurman. If somebody good is available when we are picking, in any round, we are going to take them. It will be a value pick not a need pick so all of this speculation is somewhat unnecessary. Just my opinion.
