You'd still find a reason to complain.

Would be a solid signing, though Id prefer not really touch our DT's and give McCargo a real shot.

No doubt about it. I think if Scott comes in Andersen will be out. I know we want to rotate alot but you can only rotate so many guys.

Replace Anderson with Scott, and if McCargo develops into a big time player, we have a real good 4 man rotation at DT. At any rate, we are better with Scott than Anderson.

Finally- some evidence that One Bills Drive knows our DL sucks and isn't going to try to skate by with the same group of scrubs that wasn't good enough last year.

i would rather take a FA than waste ANOTHER first round draft pick on a DT

This will be a great move, then we wouldn't have to waste our 1st rounder on Okoye!

they've always said they needed help in stopping the run . At the end of the season even Fewell mentioned he wanted more beef up the middle.
You're the only one who's too impatient to let them do their job.

or maybe I'm the only one who's not naive enough to think they're going to re-sign our entire DL only to replace them in the draft and FA.

Stop it silly. The media is more credible then any of the people inside OBD.

i am a big fan of Ian Scott and have said so many times on different posts, he is only 25 and is gonna get better, plus he knows the system and would only aid the development of McCargo, this is the guy we should be throwing money at,
This would give us a solid DLine, he has his faults like anyother player, but i do not want us reaching on day 1 for another DT, plus Jauron drafted Scott hopefully that helps, in aiding him being signed!

or, maybe the actions of OBD are more important than their words. But go ahead, scapegoat the media if you want.

I wouldn't call it a waste if he turns out to be the next Tommie Harris. But you're right, if we addressed DT with a guy like Scott we'd have a lot more flexibility in the draft.

Or maybe you don't even trust the words out your own mouth much less anybody else.

I don't want to burst any bubbles, but this article doesn't really say anything. Correct me if I'm wrong but it more or less describes Ian Scott and says he'd be a good fit here.

I think a lot of us (homers) are hoping that McCargo will become the next Tommie Harris, so that all we'll really need is one more good rotational guy, and not a 1st round draft pick.
