    Lions Release Verba

DETROIT (AP) -- The Lions released guard Ross Verba on Wednesday after one season with the team.

Verba, 33, played his first four NFL seasons with Green Bay. The Packers drafted him 30th overall in the 1997 draft, and he played there through the 2000 season.

Ross might have just reached the end of his career.
He dog-housed himself out of Cleveland due to wanting top3 OT money there, was out of football, then just got cut after one year.
WAY TO GO MR VERBA! have fun in florida playing golf.
