    Third QB

    JP is entrenched as the starter. I think most people figure Nall is #2. I have seen some speculation that Holcomb is history in Buffalo.

    So, what do you think Buffalo should do for the #3 spot? Pick up a wiley veteran in the twilight of his career. Or is it time to spend a late draft choice or try and sign a quality rookie undrafted free agent? Or something else.

    I don't think personally that a grizzled veteran has a lot to offer this team right now. I'd rather see the Bills pick up a youngster, or maybe bring back the guy they had assigned to NFL Europe last year Craig Ochs. His NFL Europe season ended early with an injury, but he looked pretty poised before that. I hope his injury wasn't career threatening.
    I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

    I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

        I agree, Tiger...we'd be better off bringing in a young guy, maybe via the draft. Don't discount a CFLer, though, either...I'm sure Marv still has contacts there.

                I always like a young project, who might just be a diamond in the rough, rather than an older guy who is a lump of coal.
                Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

                  Princeton Shepperd, Tyler Thigpen, Matt Guiterrez are a few names that popped into my head as #3 QBs

                    I'm all for drafting a mid/late rounder. I'd like to see Zabransky or Leak in the 5th or 6th if Stanbeck isn't there in the 4th.

                      In the fourth round opt for Carson Palmers' "little" brother Jordan! He has prototypical NFL size, and I believe Steve Fairchild could mold him into a very good #1 for another team, say two or three years down the road. Physically, he's the real deal, mentally, he has BAD habits to break that developed at UTEP. The comment about him being someone elses #1 is just the scenario the Green Bay Packers of the 90's used to deal Brooks, Hassleback, and Brunell after their tenure there in GB. They (Packers) ALWAYS seemed to garner high picks for these guys "down the road", a few years.

                        Eakin joins Buffalo Bills

                        The Buffalo Bills have signed former Hamilton Tiger-Cats quarterback Kevin Eakin. He will continue playing for the Frankfurt Galaxy in NFL Europe where he signed as free agent after being granted his release from the Ticats at the end of last season.
