Decent move....again Marv is electing to not tender these guys at 850,000. It's probally similar to the Ass Williams deal. Probally splits the low tender amount in half.

Retaining both him and Kiwi I wouldn;t be opposed to. Solid special teamers and decent contributions on defense as well.

Greer has meant nothing thus far. Hes a solid gunner on ST I guess.

Whether hes here or gone im indifferent. Just depends on the price tag.

I bet he signed for peanuts. Just a minor depth deal.

No need to get ones panties in a bunch.

One of our better ST guys. This is huge for us. Why get rid of guys who are members of the only real strength on our team.

I have no problem with it at all. Other CB's will be signed.

It appears that Marv is continuing to make Special Teams a priority and I for one am thrilled. All three signings were for the special teams unit. Greer, Williams and even Hargrove are all very solid special teams players and I'm sure that Bobby April pleaded to Marv to re-sign them. Don't forget that Coy Wire was re-signed long term too. Don't be surprised to see Andre Davis re-signed next.

this is a good signing, he is only 25, and with Nates departure along with hopefully resigning Thomas, u also got Eric Bassy in the fold, we could very well solidify our 3 4 5 spot in the secondary for years to come, and he could ver well be our top guy on ST

Re: Bills re-sign Greer to Multi Year deal

I like the way we're keeping guys for depth and special teams. They've been here, know our systems, and aren't breaking the bank. It makes it a lot easier to bring in some key new guys when you're not changing so many of your backups and STers at the same time.

It's good for continuity and chemistry and, as we all know, we're not going to have an All Pro at every position.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Because you don't get to a Super Bowl on ST alone.

                            Wake up, people.

You don't get to a SB without good ST's either.
