Hopefully. I know he'll want a big payday but after being in the league for 10 years without really winning, he might want to stay and play for a winner. Then again, some people value money more.

he also may have been posturing to get the hell out of washington

did you see his comment that washington wasnt really 'a hockey environment'? a very bold and direct statement that i thought was pretty telling

I Vote No, Unless he makes a SUPER HUGE impression, Darcy Already Said Drury and / Or Briere is Top Priority.

I think that he wanted out of Washington because it's not known for it's huge fan base, plus they are losers. He hasn't sniffed the playoffs. I wouldn't be surprised if the college hockey atmosphere that Buffalo has will convince him to re-sign with the team. Plus, the playoffs will help too. :up:

He basically said his job there was to sit back and make sure Ovechkin wasn't made to look bad. I hope he comes here with game because he's got a different role now.

He may stay considering we will probably lose Briere or Drury. I'd be happy to have one of them and Zubrus (who will not cost as much as either of them).
