Steelers released RB Verron Haynes.
A great indication Najeh Davenport will be re-signed shortly. Haynes had a promising start to 2006, catching 18 passes and averaging 5.2 yards-per-carry in the first seven games before tearing his ACL. He'll get another look but the knee injury will be a major deterrent to how much he'll make.
