Just because it occasionally sticks to a wall thrown on does not mean it has any intellegence.

Wow so assuming its like a 5-6 year deal they will have like upwards of 80-90 mil in thier C and OG. Wasnt Bentley a 36 mil deal?

Not to mention Winslow, Edwards and yet another top 5 pick this year.

Good luck with that cap in the future.

Bentley's carrier may be over due to another knee surgery or w.e it is that he injured and it looks like again he will miss the season

While I agree that this money is ridiculous and he will be overpaid on a thin market, get ready for the countless, stupid posts about what an overated player Steinbach is.

The truth for the unbiased people; is that Steinbach is one of the best guards in the NFL. I don't talk about him because Buffalo won't and shouldn't pay him that kind of money (too many holes to use up that much money for one person)-- But if he became a Bill I"d be absolutely estatic.

Few guards are better than him, but that will get twisted tommorow once he signs with whomever for a crazy contract.

Didn't I predict that? If it happens, do I win something?

IF Cleveland signs him I will be impressed for one reason.

THey spent a lot on Fa's last year and didnt win ****.. Frankly, they sucked..

but what i like about this is small market team or not, if nothing else at least this FO makes an EFFORT to bring in big name players to give their fans something to be excited about. If you think that doesnt matter then you're being naive about business and your only fooling yourself.

But.. having said that-- The reason why this team is not good, hasnt been good in quite some time and may not be for several more years is because they are maybe the worst team at drafting since the Colts of the pre-Polian days.

Having marqee FA's is great, but its a waste of you dont consistently draft good young talent... This is the ONE category that I do still feel real good about Marv Levy right now.

Any fa who goes to the Browns is commiting career suicide. Ask Bentley. Let him sign with the browns we'll never hear his name again.

Cleveland is soon becoming the Bermuda Triangle for high priced free agency. You see them all over the place, and all of a sudden they're gone and disappeared off the face of the earth.

I hope Nate Clements goes there then.

Steinbach gives up an average of 3.5 sacks and 6.5 penalties including 4.5 false start penalties, a year. Moreover he's been playing between Levi Jones and Rich Braham, 2 excellent players, for most of his career.

Just count me as one of those who think that $7M a year is WAY too much.
