The TD Animals, aka the Buffalo Bills, are the new Beasts of the East. The turnaround team of the year (barring injury of course). No longer will people look forward to playing us as underdogs, but we will strike fear into the hearts of our adversaries.
Ladies and Gentlemen, We're Back.........

bro.. it is way early.. we still dont have adams yet.. he is key..

but beyond that.. the jets (in my mind) are still the best team, and they are young and improving.. if pennington plays all year last year, they run away with the division, instead of winning it late.

It's a brutal division. But with Adams, another FA, and the draft, we are like 50% better than last year and we went %500. I hear ya though, it's a tough division. But we're retooled like a desert storm tank.

IF we get spikes and Adams...and can address our safety needs in the draft, I agree 100%!

If the Bills get Adams, the Bills are the team to beat- the rest of the division will be scrambling to match this team the whole offseason.

Offense:

Drew
Moulds
Henry
Reed

Defense:

Takeo
Adams
Fletcher
Williams
Winfield
Clements

That's alot of talent!

As long as he doesn't hurt himself like he did trying to bodyslam Drew last summer!

Assuming we nail down Spikes and Adams, I really don't think safety is going to be a problem. With Adams/Williams clogging the middle, the LB's can make more plays without help from the safeties. Strong corner play only relieves the safeties more, allowing Prioleau to cover over the top and Wire to concentrate on TE and big hits.

Front seven play is going to make those two guys look much, much better than last season.

I definately see a very tough division next year. Unless the fins make some drastic moves I see them in last place next year. The Patriots I'm sure will do their last minute bargain hunting in FA and has two 1st round picks. The Jets are a very good team and Pennington looks like the real deal. I feel we are good enough to beat anybody. I say it is between the Bills and Jets for the title.

It does suck that we are in one of the toughest divisions in the conference so home field throughout the playoffs for any team in the division will be tough.

Theres really not a weak team in the division (if we get Spikes/Adams). It's going to be brutal this year.

Hey McD!!

I gotta agree w/ Halbert here and was saying that all last year. A better DL really improves play elsewhere.

Having said that, I also agree w/ venis. I'm not sold on McKenzie and Jones at DE either. I'd really like to see us make a move there. At least for another medium tiered player like Johnstone. Figure it would give us some depth that we simply don't have an another option in case one of these "what-ifs" doesn't work out. Both guys coming off significant injuries.

After that, I definitely see us as the strongest team in the East right now. The Jets will improve in some areas, but they have some question marks in FAcy and we'll have to see how they do.

Miami, IMO their O will be better, but their D seems to have terminally fallen w/ the current cast of players.

N.E., a weird team. Young and old. Their success depends on their finding a RB and some WRs along w/ their draft/FAcy plan.

But we'll have the talent to win the division and the conference and go 12-4+. Of course who knows what the injury bug will bring too. We were very fortunate last season and I don't expect the same level of luck this season which is why some depth on OL, WR, and D is a good thing. We'll have the money to spend on them now.

I agree Wys, and I think with these signings we will be nasty! I'm a bit concerned about the team chemistry. It worked out well last year with all the changes on the O, so maybe I'm concerned for nothing!

Don't forget that we'll have a lot of young players on D that matured immensely last season. Assuming we get Adams and Spikes, the middle of the line and the entire starting LB corp will be very solid. That gives GW the luxury to make the DE's specialists until one of them steps up for regular play. If Schobel can improve against the run then we've only got one more end to work on. GW should have lots of options, especially if we add a good rookie with the new 1st round pick.

We don't need more DE depth, we've been starting backup DEs for the past few years. We need starters. McKenzie, Jones, Schoble, Ahanatu (if he's back), Deeney....we need someone to step up.
