Lindy Ruff has just about given up having his full team around. The trend of a player being unavailable continued yet again Thursday.

Buffalo Sabres defenseman Henrik Tallinder was at the doctor's office rather than practice, suffering symptoms similar to the flu that sidelined Daniel Briere earlier in the week. Ruff was hopeful Tallinder would be healthy enough to play tonight when the Sabres host the Montreal Canadiens in HSBC Arena.

While Tallinder was gone, a few of the ill or injured were wandering around the rink. Briere was back practicing. Chris Drury and Jaroslav Spacek were able to skate on their own. Maxim Afinogenov rode a bike. Only Briere will be back tonight.

Looks like we'll have to score alot of goals to make up for our AHL defense if Tallinder is out..

Do we got the Funk tonight? lol

And when do you guys think we will see Conklin start? I'm sure Lindy is going to want to rest Miller before the playoffs seeing how the string of injuries have been lately..
