    Carney signed for DIRT CHEAP

Saints | Contract Details: Carney - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
21:21 PT: John Clayton reports for ESPN.com PK John Carney's five-year contract with the New Orleans Saints was worth $4.4 million. The deal also included a $500,000 signing bonus.

that is nothing.. that is less than 1 mill a year.. for one of the best kickers.. td was so busy making blockbuster deals.. he missed out on this one.. damn

Mike Hollis take notice. Just because Dan Snyder is dumb enough to throw huge #'s at John Hall does not mean you are going to get the same.

I like Hollis enough but if we're going to spend a little money on a kicker can we at least get someone who can reach the endzone every once in a while to help out our sad coverage team!!
