From everything I heard Walker is AWFUL at Tackle.

Whittle isnt a starter.. It will be a camp battle between Merz and Preston, and maybe Walker (if he signs)..
I dont give a **** about any of them except for DOckery.

For what it's worth, here's a Vikes fan's comment on Whittle:

"I wish he'd stayed in Minny... when he replaced Hicks at guard we finally got some consistency from the position, and him being able to play all the inside positions really makes him a versatile player. So this is actually a good signing by the Bills, imo."

Thanks for that. I thought it was a good signing, plus it was CHEAP!

Two words: Jake Scott. He started at right guard for the Colts, and would be our answer there. Imagine this line...

              Peters-Dockery-Fowler-Scott-Pennington

              Sick.

Lets get him signed before we start making up depth charts.

Good point! That's the line I would like the most. If not Scott, then Lilja.

Right side would still be worse then mediocre IMO. A lot of good depth there, but not real solid starters.

Lilja was tendered at a second-round price, Mikey. Scott wasn't, though, because the Colts lacked cap space and had Dylan Gandy behind him. So, Scott's a UFA; Lilja's an RFA.

He's referring to the Raider's experiment to move him to right tackle which failed miserably. He is way better at G and that's where he was during those playoff runs.

From what I undersatnd Walker played very well at Guard. It's when the POS Gallery got moved to the other side and they moved him to tackle that he struggled.

But seriously we wereen't signing Dockery, Steinback and Dielman at the same time so let's not get too over zealous here.

Oh, I didn't know that. Then, I would LOVE to get Scott in here. He in on my BZFL team and has done a pretty good job, plus I have watched him as a OT and OG on the Colts and his stats are pretty good.
