If nothing else, the moves yesterday showed the average fan that they are at least still TRYING To put a good team out there. The average fan turns on the TV last night and finds out they spent all this money, that's important.

If this team had let Fletch and Nate just walk, and did nothing of significance, it woulda gotten ugly in Buffalo, IMO.

and dont discount the average fan.. the "average" fan buys tix to games more than the diehards..
