The compensation thing would happen next year. It is a complicated formula that takes into account UFA's signed, lost, performance, amount paid, and a bunch of other crap.

The Bills might not get any compensatory picks next season despite losing Nate and London sicne they have signed two guys.

Compensaoty picks are calculated for the following year based on a super complex forfula that only a nuclear scientist can calculate. With that said yes we lost Nate and Fletch but we also signed FA's so who really knows what we will get in 2008.
