I'm subjected to the worst announcers in any sport- The Panthers announcers- dumb as a brick.


I forget who that Rusian Goalie was who we had 5-6 years ago that backed up Hasek. (Trefilov?)

Anyway, the Sabres started him for the first two periods and Ruff replaced him with Hasek at the start of the third. (must have had the flu or something, it was a 1-1 tie at the time).

The Russian was 6-7 inches taller han Hasek and had completely different equipment in color and design- (Hasek had a cage mask, this guy didn't)

For an entire half a period, these morons were calling Hasek the other goalie's name, never realizing they switched.

Only after they scored did they realize Hasek was in the game- and they still blew it! They tried to cover their @$$es by saying Hasek came in releif after the goal. Bunch of Morons!

Jeff Rimer and Denis Potvin. Worst by far in the league. I wish I could play the call by Rick Jennerette via the net but the play by play lags about 60-90 seconds.

Have them come here! Our Bills game threads sometimes generate 50-200 posts- depending who's on line.

Plus, unlike a chat, you can read back on what people said.


I prefer game threads anyways- especially if I'm concentrating more on the TV than the chat room

Hmm.. like WereRat said.. I think it depends on how Noronen finishes the game.. if he plays just alright and gets the win or tie or maybe even loses.. I'm pretty sure they'll go back with Biron.. but if Mika doesn't face many shots (as he hasn't thus far) and gets the shutout or only allows only a goal.. he might get to play again tomorrow.. I'm pretty sure that you'll get to see Marty tomorrow anyway because of the whole back to back situation.. :)

Hehehe I think so too Shelby!! He's pretty buff too.. I saw him at the Sabres Carnival.. omg. he's cute.. he was playing ping pong and when I walked by he looked up.. so I took I get my camera to take a pic of him and he smiles.. and then tries to play ping pong as he's looking into the camera smiling.. he's a cutie for sure.. :)
