For what it's worth I was just watching NFL Network and the bottom line said BOTH Chris Brown and Dominic Rhodes are in Buffalo today.

I would MUCH rather have Rhodes....Anyway I'm assuming in a few hours we should hear something offical from the Bills, at least about their visits (and hopefully signing news)

Here we go again, we wouldnt sign them both....do you think?

Interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if this means that the Bills are close to a deal with the Giants for Willis too.

If the talks between us and A-train aint working, and were trading willis? I'd take them both, Brown will be able to stay healthy in a backup role.

I say sign them both. They could be a good tandem and it would also mean Willis traded which is a good thing.

I was thinking the exact same thing

If we sign both I will be speechless....with indifference. I like Rhodes but not Brown.

More likely than not, both will leave without signing

Well Brown and Rhodes would be perfect in my mind. Brown can't stay healthy but when he's right he's awesome. Rhodes is a good down hill runner i wouldn't mind if they signed them both.

They should arm wrestle to see who gets the contract.

Chris Brown is the better running back but too fragile.

Rhodes would win due to injury.

this could mean Willis deal in the works if anything, cause if u think about it, Chris brown wants out of tennesee to be a starter, and Dominick Rhodes dont want to be a backup either, why would they come here if not to start
These moves bringing in the two most experienced RBs out there left
seems to me the pot is boiling ....

not if Rhodes plays while under the influence.

You sign them both you put press on the teams that need a running back via free agency. How we get Jamal Lewis in here as well. Why not?

Willis McGahee: Bills Looking for New Running Back
RotoWire.com Staff - RotoWire.com
Tuesday, March 6, 2007

Update: The Bills are scheduled to have Dominic Rhodes and Chris Brown in for visits this week, according to The Buffalo News. The two visits are further signs that the Bills are interested in working a deal for incumbent starter McGahee, who is on the trading block.

Recommendation: Years ago most trade talk in the NFL was just that, but the current market conditions seem to be conducive to more trades, so a somewhat disgruntled player like McGahee (who has an agent telling him he's worth more than he really is) could be ripe for a trade. We still give it a 50-50 chance, but this should be one of the more interesting offseason developments, and something could break soon.

I think Rhodes is a bill by the end of a day, call it a hunch.

I'd love to add both. The NFL is moving toward a by-committee system in the backfield, and these guys would make a heck of a one-two punch.

chris brown is a MUCH better running back if he could stay healthy.. that is my ONLY concern about him being our starter. i would feel really good with both of them.. or one of them and draft a workhorse and let either brown or rhoades be the back up.

I agree. Brown has been pretty productive - when healthy! The fragile thing scares me a bit. 6'3", 220 lbs. isn't a tiny back, but with his height he could probably carry a little more meat and be more durable. Rhodes is at 5'9" 203 lbs. Rhodes is 28 and Brown is 26. Both or one? Tough call. Both would be nice as I think they would be good in partial duty. I don't know if either is a 25 carry guy. 12-15 touches each could work if they're willing to do so.

I would rather have Rhodes and Lewis then Rhodes and brown, but if they are the choices I say keep Mcgahee and draft a guy

I hope we don't sign Rhodes until we trade McGahee. Once we sign a back, we'll lose all leverage in the trade because we'll have to get rid of him for sure.

out of the RB's out in FA McGahee is better then any of them, I want him traded too but for no less then a 2nd rd pick.
