Lost in all the hoopla over the big additions to Oline is addressing the FB position. Shelton was mediorce at best, and we've lacked a true animal at the position for some time.

The Answer is looking for a mean SOB to to pave the way for whoever is running the ball for us in 2007 - The Answer is not concerned with rushing attempts or catching passes. (Although it wouldn't hurt to find a FB who can do both). What The Answer is looking for is a true animal with blocking instincts that can flat out level a linebacker or defensive end.

The Lorenzo Neal's of the world are hard to find - but we need a serviceable player to go with the revamped line.

Dilemma here is that there's not much out there in terms of FA's - so we might have to rely on the draft to fill this hole.

I'd love a good blocking FB who could also catch the ball and get the tough yard or two now and then. In fact, as our O Line improves, the blocking becomes a little less important and the offensive skills a little more valuable.
