    tuesday jets signings.......

New York Jets: New York continued its busy spending spree Tuesday by agreeing to a contract with former Cowboys defensive end Kenyon Coleman.
Kenyon Coleman is a physical defensive lineman and we like his size and strength up front," general manager Mike Tannenbaum said. "He has experience playing the 3-4 defense and we're looking forward to having him be a part of our organization."
Coleman played all 16 games for Dallas last season, his sixth in the NFL, and recorded 31 tackles, four sacks and two batted-down passes.
Also Tuesday, the Jets re-signed defensive end Bobby Hamilton, who was released by the team for salary cap reasons on March 1.

Good insight hurricane. Brilliant analysis.... Coleman was a good depth guy for Dallas and put up good numbers when considering he was a backup. Some people such as hurricane seem to not value depth at all. Depth is key in today's NFL, and in a 3-4 defense keeping players fresh is important.

Furthermore, this guy will compete for the starting DE job in camp. Good pickup.

Because Dallas was known for their quarterback sacking defense last year? Let alone a backup DE? Yeah, this guy is a nobody.

Umm the Raiders weren't known for their stellar OL play last year and we gave their RT 25 million, so That's not a good comparison.

Each guy is different.. I dont think thats a make or break signing for the Jets.
