    Old school jerseys in the Stanley Cup?

    If the Sabres make it to the Stanley Cup finals (knock on wood) will they be wearing their original (ie. third) jerseys, so that they win it in their historic threads? Anyone heard anything about that?

    I think that would be a great scene to see. But I think they'll discuss it when the time comes.

      I don't 3rd jersey is allowed to worn in the playoffs anymore

        Yeah, once the playoffs hit you won't see the 3rd jerseys again. NHL policy I'm fairly sure.

            Larry Quinn promised to sabres fans that if it was game 7 of the stanley cup at home, the team would wear the vintage jerseys

                he said the Vancouver game would have both teams in throwbacks. Due to NHL rules they were not in throwbacks.

                NHL rules take the lead over Quinn!!1!
