Jason David, a Colts RFA, would be worth the fourth-round price. He's a rising CB, only 25 yrs. old.

I say we re-sign Thomas asap. I thought he did an excellent job this past year.

It's not a matter of just re-signing Thomas. It's more along the lines of does he want to re-sign. There has been talk about his desire to be closer to his home down south.

i think signing a veteran CB this year will only help us come draft day. thats one less position we need to draft on an already long list of needs/wants. would i be angry if the bills dont sign a FA cb? no. will i be angry if they do sign a FA cb? not at all.

It's not a matter of just re-signing Thomas. It's more along the lines of does he want to re-sign. There has been talk about his desire to be closer to his home down south.

That is why he hasn't signed and why we most likely won't see him signed.

So he visits Detroit? I hate it when these guys BS the media and try to pretend it's not about money....

I think Thomas was ok for us- not dominant, but decent at nickel- and I'd like to get him back because he has some experience. But Youboty isn't going to cut it this year- we do need to add someone else with experience whether we keep Thomas or not.
