All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

With the signing of Lewis, he is probably going to be cut by next Wednesday, when he has a $3.5M roster bonus due. Just wait a little and you can have him without a trade.
Droughns had a bit of a down year last year, but part of that might have been due to Cleveland's general ineptitude on offense. He is probably worth a look, but Buffalo should bring in someone else to compete as well if they look at him.
He had back-to-back 1200+ yard seasons before suffering a down year last year. He is a good receiver as well, catching almost 100 passes in the last 3 years. He is only 28 years old.
Cleveland's offense was pretty poor last year, and Droughns suffered from that. He also suffered a shoulder injury early in the season that nagged him, and later on he suffered a sprained foot.
The guy is a pretty good player. Granted, I wouldn't build your franchise around him but he has been a productive back and would probably come cheaper than some of the other options. You could sign him to replace McGahee, then bring in another back or draft one high.

Even better. I don't know if I would want to put everything on him but a Droughns/ Lynch or Bush rotation would be intriguing.

KEEP AN EYE ON CLEVELAND: What the Browns do at running back now that they've signed Jamal Lewis bears watching. There's speculation that Reuben Droughns could be cut and if so he's likely an option the Bills would consider. However, cutting Droughns would pretty much reveal to every team in the league that the Browns plan on taking Adrian Peterson with the 3rd overall pick in the draft. I'm not sure they want to play their hand like that so Droughns may remain with Cleveland until after the draft. ---
