McGahee is a Jamal Lewis- type back, only younger.
Not at all! (Maybe the scared to hit the hole part though)

The Ravens are reportedly expected to "put all their efforts into reaching a contract extension" with Willis McGahee on Thursday.
The McGahee-to-Ravens swap could happen as soon as a new contract, considered the No. 1 obstacle in trade talks, is finalized. Then Baltimore would likely send its third-round pick (pick No. 92) to Buffalo for McGahee.

SportsCenter said pretty much the same thing about Marv weakening his trade position by auditioning replacements with McGahee still on the roster.

I don't care though- McGahee's a bust. 900 yard running backs are a dime a dozen.

I care... we gave up a lot to get him initially. We hold the cards here, not the Ravens. It is important to remember that he has more to lose from a holdout then we do. If this is not a 2nd then we will have taken a definite hit. We can call it cutting our losses, but it will be less then we should have gotten no matter how you look at it.

Maybe that is what is taking so long. Hopefully, Marv is sticking to his guns and waiting for the 2nd.

If your bluffing with a bad hand, you have to know how far you can take the hand before you have to flok it. Marv knows he has a BAD hand here. I would be happy with a 3rd for him. Here's why, we won't resign him next year anyways and a 3rd is better than nothing. Hell I think a bag of footballs is good as long as he is not a Bill this year!
