Re: Sullivan: McGahee waits for phone to ring
The Ravens are reportedly expected to "put all their efforts into reaching a contract extension" with Willis McGahee on Thursday.
The McGahee-to-Ravens swap could happen as soon as a new contract, considered the No. 1 obstacle in trade talks, is finalized. Then Baltimore would likely send its third-round pick (pick No. 92) to Buffalo for McGahee.

SportsCenter said pretty much the same thing about Marv weakening his trade position by auditioning replacements with McGahee still on the roster.
I don't care though- McGahee's a bust. 900 yard running backs are a dime a dozen.

I care... we gave up a lot to get him initially. We hold the cards here, not the Ravens. It is important to remember that he has more to lose from a holdout then we do. If this is not a 2nd then we will have taken a definite hit. We can call it cutting our losses, but it will be less then we should have gotten no matter how you look at it.
