Or buy the classics. I have a Marino and a Griese as well as J. Taylor, R. Brown, and Culpepper. You guys could never go wrong with a Kelly, Smith or Reed

Classics are a good idea.

Putting your own name on a jersey? Bad idea.

you know what i dont buy player jerseys in my little silent protest to false hero worship but if i did i really wouldnt care about a jersey of player that left

so what, you liked a player for a while, they left, sometimes as little *****es wink wink. its just football, things change, its like a game. in fact it is a game. those guys had their moment and it passed, no biggie

i realize this isnt ideal for the marketing department but i decided to skip that meeting

besides to me that stuff kinda becomes cool, like instant retro or something. i guess youre either a dweeb or cool to decide to wear one and since i know im not a dweeb theres only one alternative lol. now if were talking geek entirely different story

now in all the time ive said this ive also offered to take any xl jerseys you wanna get rid of and ill wear em. send me your willis your sam your antoine, your bryce your marcellus your bucky, your orenthal your gary your perry

total received: 0

buncho liars lmao

Nope, not me. The last player jersey I ever bought was a Bryce Paup one. After that I got tired of wearing jerseys of players who left the team or retired. Now I have my own last name on the back with my year of birth as the number.

Michael82

I have an authentic that I got on ebay for cheap. I'll still wear it once in a while because it's sweet looking. Plus I have an away replica that I have worn many times.

If only McGahee's name had a 'B' in it. I could strip the letters off myself and spell out 'BAM'. :(

I was told here that you could, but I went to a Uniform store and they told me that you couldn't do that since the glue and stitching from the old letters/numbers would look like crap.

the numbers are hard but the name should be easy- either undo the stitching or make the stitching on the new name patch slightly larger to cover it up.

Yeah, I got good use out of it... Now my only authentic left is my Losman throwback; have Moulds and McGahee and a whole bunch of replica...

Im never going to wear it again. I have to buy a new one with a player who is on the team. I guess im weird that way.

I've got an authentic Whitner throwback left, so I'm still OK. I'll just hang onto my Willis jersey and hope it somehow gains value. Ten years from now, kids around America would probably love to have it. Mitchell and Ness is always selling throwbacks of marginal players for huge money.

Agreed. I don't want to see Spikes traded for two reasons. First, I really think he will come back strong this year and we can't replace both LBs in the draft or FA. And second, I have 2 of his jerseys and if he leaves...all I have left in my JP throwback jersey.
