Hey, think about it. This McGahee trade could end up being like when Walker got traded to Minnesota for draft picks. The Vikings got an average back and the Cowboys built a dynasty.

Herschel is a regular on Pros vs Joes on spike tv.

And to the point of the thread. Dallas received multiple 1st rounders man.

What were the Vikings thinking?

No offense, but that is ludicrous.

The Vikings gave up:

- 3 1sts
- 3 2nds
- a 3rd
- a 6th
- 3 crappy players (LB Jesse Solomon, LB David Howard, CB Isaac Holt)

Dallas gave up:

- Walker
- 2 3rds
- a 5th
- a 10th

Seems kinda different.

What did they give us for him?

What did they give us for him?

- 2nd in 1978
- 3rd in 1978
- 1st in 1979
- 4th in 1979

Buffalo chose LB Tom Cousineau, DE Ken Johnson, DE Scott Hutchinson and WR Danny Fulton. Cousineau went to Canada while the rest never made an impact.

Seems that trade didn't work for either team.

Your list is incomplete, Dallas also received RB Darrin Nelson who refused to go to Dallas and they ended up trading him to San Diego and DE Alex Stewart who was cut. Dallas also turned around and traded a lot of those picks into more or better picks.

Except for the Bills trading Cousineau to the Browns for the 14th pick in the 1983 draft and the rest is history.

I know Dallas got a ton of high picks. My point was the principle of the whole deal.
