Buffalo is weak opposite Lee Evans, but may have limited spending power after inking Derrick Dockery and Langston Walker to monster deals. The Titans have money to make a serious run at the speedster. Mar. 10 - 1:42 am et

are they even going to look at any defensive players in free agency or are they just planning on using every draft pick this year on D.

I have a feeling that they were working on getting McGahee out of here first and getting the RB situation somewhat taken care of. I look for A-Train or Chris Brown to be signed on Monday and then some defense players (LBs and CB's) to start coming in for visits next week.

Me too - from what little I've actually seen of the guy play, he was impressive - he made some great catches, he's definitely not a slow white boy, and he's fought for some balls that could have easily been picked.

I hope they call him and bring him in next week. This guy would be a huge addition to the offense. Finally, some well needed size.

Doesn't our OC know the guy. You would think that this would put us high on the list considering he played for our OC.

Yeah I was just gonna say that. He's reportedly in the process of hiring a new agent today, so he can't sign any contracts until that is complete.

While I think he would be a very solid addition, with the likes of Tennessee, Philly and the others on that list with more cap room, I think we'll be outbid for his services.....but we could always not let him leave if and when he comes on a visit next week!

other than the Lions i think if we pay him the right amount of money we have the best chance to land him

They need to do something to get a better WR in here than Peerless Price.

Lee Evans ate teams up last year, he's going to see so many doubles its not even funny unless we get another legit weapon.

Two good receiver regardless of size can't be bad. You want redzone size get a tightend that knows to drag his foot in the endzone. :ill:

Gutless, underachieving Peerless must not be in favor anymore at the #2 spot.

What a shock.

He is another tiny speedster. We already have 2 of him(price and Parrish) We need a possesion receiver.

He's a speed receiver, not a big receiver. However, I do like him and I think he would bring something more to the table than Price or Reed.

I believe Curtis was part of the "unofficial highest Wonderlic QB/WR combo" a year or two ago when the Rams third string QB was playing... One with a 48 and the other with a perfect 50... I bet Marv likes that...

all that matters is that you can get open and make the catch and he has shown he can, I would really like him here

Really? I watched enough of Roscoe and Shauld getting their ass kicked. Quite frankly, with the exception of Evans, all our recivers get man handled off the line. That's the main reason Price was ineffective. I watched him get beat up on before he could run his routes.

does he remind anyone of don beebee?

I wouldn't read too much into it, Marv said that they would not be very active in the FA in terms of WRs this year, and would possibly draft one. We will definitely not get in a bidding war for him.
