Option 1: If one of the players Buffalo has ranked in the top five on their draft board is still available at pick five or six, the Bills have the picks to make a bold move. Using their top two picks (#12, #43) they have the value (1,670 points) to make a legitimate offer for the 5th (1,700 points) or 6th pick (1,600 points) in the draft.

We should just dub option 1, the "Peterson" move. If they like him, this is the move for him.

I don't think there is anyone at 5 and 6 worth giving up the two picks for, and here's why.

1- Peterson will be gone and so will Calvin Johnson.

The next best guys would be DE and thanks to that deal for "Cant stop the run" Kelsay; why would we give up two picks like that to draft a Jamaal ANderson or Gaines Adams?

NOw if Peterson or Johnson were there at 5, then of course they are worth it.. but nobody else is worth it.

Please read the enitre article. I wasn't suggesting option 1. There are several options that are actually more likely. It's a good article.

The article is nothing more than a math exercise.

How about some names/positions and some real possibilities.

Well unless you already know where people are going to get picked than it's a waste of time. The point is that if Peterson is available at #6 we have the ability to get him. If Lynch drops down to #27 we have the ability to get him as well. Not every team is in the same enviable position. Maybe that's why Marv and Co. are putting alot of hope on the draft.
