Sun, 11 Mar 2007 05:34:30 -0800
John Murphy, of Yahoo! Sports, reports free agent RB <A href="http://www.kffl.com/player/5894/nfl">Chris Brown (Titans) may try to make contact with the Indianapolis Colts (http://www.kffl.com/team/19/nfl) early this week, according to a league source. Brown would replace departed RB Dominic Rhodes (http://www.kffl.com/player/860/nfl) (Raiders).

Titans | Brown could return to team
Sun, 11 Mar 2007 05:32:49 -0800
John Murphy, of Yahoo! Sports, reports free agent RB <A href="http://www.kffl.com/player/5894/nfl">Chris Brown (Titans) expects to receive a multi-year contract offer from one of the several teams he has met with, according to a league source. However, another alternative could have Brown re-signing with the Tennessee Titans (http://www.kffl.com/team/36/nfl) to a one-year deal loaded with incentives and then hit the market again in 2008. Brown would potentially be able to earn more on that type of deal if he were to beat out RB LenDale White (http://www.kffl.com/player/13320/nfl) for the starting job.

Well its only Yahoo sports, but each day goes by the chance drops of him signing here. I just get the vibe the bills really don't want him. Looks like Marv knows exactly what direction they want to go at running back. We wont have any answers till draft time

If Brown doesn't sign this year with someone else, his chances next year are even slimmer, I would guess, considereing the hype of the '08 draft at the RB position.

I bet the Bills #1 priority is to re-sign A-Train and draft one of the top RB's in the draft. That's Marv's plan. And who knows....maybe Adrian Peterson will fall right in our laps....

I agree. I think if they were interested he'd have been signed by now.

Hopefully Marv is under the impression he has the next Thurman Thomas on his radar.

I think the best place for Brown is back with the Titans. Henry's gone and he'd make a good tandem with White ... until the next time he got hurt. :injured:

April 28 will be a great day. We can't lose with either Peterson or Lynch.

I am gald that we aren't wasting any money on a career backup. I really believe that Marv has someone picked out in the draft that he is super high on. I believe this is why they decided to jettison McGahee. It could be Peterson, and maybe we are moving up to get him. Didn't Thurman go to the same school?

Maybe it's someone that we will move down to get. My only concern is that we need a LB and a DT as well. The 28th can't come soon enough!!
