Fins sign FB Schlesinger

Twelve-year veteran fullback Cory Schlesinger, who played his entire career with the Detroit Lions before becoming an unrestricted free agent two weeks ago, has reached agreement with the Miami Dolphins on a two-year contract.

Financial details of the deal were not immediately available. Schlesinger visited with Miami officials last week.

lol, I think Bling is being a bit sarcastic. I did read an interesting thing about Schlesinger--he's got a tendancy to break facemasks, as in his own. Lol, if that type of mentality is utilized in his blocking, then aweseome!

Well, at least we're doing something! Besides I don't hear anyone complaining about Lorenzo Neal and he's Older then Schlesinger. Corey also has three probowls! I think it's an upgrade.

Schlesinger has struggled with injuries the last couple years and is getting old, but he was a very good player. If he stays healthy he is a bull of a lead blocker and an excellent receiver. I always liked the guy, a very underrated player.

Thats why Lorenzo Neal wasnt a free agent.

Fred Beasly was supposed to be great also.
