Not sure what this is about...to make Aaron happy? he is also a DE and Aaron's cousin.

maybe a little sibling rivalry on the line could be a good thing - "I bet I can get more sacks than you this year Aaron!"

i liked him coming out of college.

it wouldnt hurt to have him in for camp. if he can beat someone out, or move hargrove to DT, then so be it.

He's nothing special, but then again neither is Everret.

Your confusing Bo with Matt Schobel. Matt is the TE and Aaron's brother.

I guess he might be worth a look at the veteran minimum, but I can't see him as an upgrade over Kelsay, Denney or Hargrove.

Bo knows the bench..

We have about 9 starters and 48 depth and ST players right now..

Enough is enough. Get someone in here on defense that matters.

My only question on this is...why? Is Marv not happy with our DEs (then why sign Kelsay) ? Does he intend for Hargrove to play DT instead? If Marv is still interested in upgrading our DEs this changes the draft outlook as their are a number of DEs that could be taken with the 1st pick by him then - there might even be a decent prospect that falls to the 2nd rd.

Or is this just smokescreen garbage???

Cool.. We'll need good ST

Because we're headed towards an abundance of punts and kickoff returns

(sarcasm)

but in all seriousness.. wtf we need a BO Schobel for.. Sign him in July or something

Mr. Pink
03-13-2007, 09:40 AM
I don't know Bo.

I'm free, can I try to make the team too?

I'm also white and can pretend to have a high motor and try my hardest too!

Lol. I can't say I disagree with you. Seems to me like we have AMPLE depth on the DL. Kelsey, Denney, Hargrove, McCargo, Triplett, Kyle Williams, Aaron Schobel and the everpresent Tim Anderson. Give me Okoye, you can keep Bo.

Maybe this is just an effort to make Aaron Schobel happy about playing for half the money Kelsey got. You know, kind of like how they often put a goat in the racehorse's stall to keep him from raising hell.

It is depth for camp - they want the DL to put pressure on OL by constantly attacking. I also suspect that they will use some of the DL in multiple formations like they did last year where a DL takes the place of a LB.

This would not be a bad depth signing, but i dont see him as much of an upgrade to what we already have, they must really not like eric powell, LOL

Lets play word assocation.

Buffalo Bills.......... Depth!

patmoran2006
03-13-2007, 10:03 AM
"Depth for camp" is becoming an all too familiar phrase for the Bills.
Nothing wrong with that-- however.

Depth for camp should = late rounds of draft, street free agents and post-draft cuts.

February/March = Players that actually matter. I never seen a FO that signs so many "depth" players before FA starts and during the peak time of FA

Me 2. Bo definitely brings depth.

All of our DE's could have fresh legs when maroney, jones and brown have 150 yards each early into the third quarter running on our soft batch front four that instead of doing something about we resign every single one of them back who's been eligible for FA two years running now.

I dont criticize everything the Bills do, but Im not going to act like a little school girl cheerleader because the Bills have some bum named Bo Schobel in for a visit, because its good for depth.

The way you guys react to every player; every signing in the history of the league is a good depth signing. We may be near the bottom of the league in stopping the run, but I guarentee you we're the champions of Depth Signings.

Shaud Williams, Tim Anderson-- They are not good depth signings.. They are proven time and time again-- jerkoffs.
