The Patriots have been so aggressive that one NFL observer has a theory: Bill Belichick is firing all his guns at once because he wants to go out on top. The folks at ProFootballTalk.com say the Pats' spending spree has all the makings of a run at one final Super Bowl before Belichick packs it in as a coach of the Pats.

Guess that could explain all the FA signings.

I get really sick of these Pats rumors. We keep hearing all this bad news about this guy retiring or that guy retiring and it never comes true, or if it does they just find a replacement that's even better. As much as I am eagerly anticipating the Pats' demise, I refuse to believe it's actually happening until they start losing on Sundays.

Them getting pimped by the Colts in the playoffs was the beginning of the end. Belichick is panicking now.

What part of AFC Championship game spells panic? 7-9 would be panic....wait....no, for us, it was hopeful.

Even if he did leave the Pats, which he won't anytime soon, he would have another job very soon.

Exactly. I want his dynasty to end with us at the top of the division.

Whenever I'm feeling down, I watch the second half of that game.
