That was a good first period. Nice action. Tight play. No real mistakes. Noronen looked sharp on a few tough shots. Pretty good hockey. The team has been playing much better lately and so far it shows tonight.

They just had a few defense/penalty kill issues. Still a pretty good period though.

It was a good game. There was some hard checking going on! Noronen did an excellent job. Khabiboulin is simply amazing.
