There is no way we will go receiver in the 1st round of the draft unless CL falls which aint gonna happen but damn this Meachem has was we're looking for. This kid is going to be good! I wouldn't mind seeing OBD get back into the 1st round to go after him but I am not holding my breath. Truthfully, if we take Willis at #12 Meachem is the only other player I would get back into the 1st round for.

To be honest with you, I think he may be the first WR taken in the draft and be gone by like #17 or so. He definitely aint gonna see the end of the first round... We'd have to get pretty deep back into the first round..

Love the looks of him! I wish we would go for BPA and take him in the 2nd, he may not drop that far though. I think we go need over WR. Its too bad. I think hes like taking Stallworth speed and adding in Moulds toughness. He could be REALLY, REALLY good.

Anybody who can tell you exactly where and to whom must be my hero, because nobody knows.

But some things you can say with confidence. And here is one of them.

Meacham will NOT be on the NFL draft board when the second round starts.. If the Bills wanted to trade up and get him later in the first, they'd be extremelyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy fortunate to find him there at about 22-23.

Now.. IF one ole' Marvin Levy feels good enough about all the guys we drafted last year on defense, and decides day one is all about the offensive skill players this year.

Taking Lynch would be a tremendous start. And what would make it even better is trading up just like last year (2nd and a third) to get back into the first round and getting either meacham or bowe to play next to evans.

With a better OL and a much improved QB, that would have the makings of a sick ass offense.......

Absolutely.. I think he goes before Jarrett.. the only WR that may go ahead could be Ginn, which I think personally is a mistake..

Call it a hunch but I think Calvin Johnson MAAAAY go before Robert "1 year wonder" Meachem.

Although if teams are looking for a guy productive one season....maybe pats right.

When it comes to the Bills and possible draft picks, I dont even count guys like Calvin Johnson or Joe Thomas or Gaines Adams.. Because there is a 0% chance they fall..

You said he would be the 1st WR taken. Quit back tracking.

Whateverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.. First WR taken around our pick in a realistic sense.

AS for Calvin Johnson, I guess I think very little of him. In fact, I think so very little of him that I have this thread from yesterday, stating that If was the GM I'd trade almost my entire draft for Calvin Johnson, thats how little I think of him.

some people talk out of their a$$ 90% of the time that they forget . It was like that with ICe and it's gonna be like that with his biggest fan . Get used to it.

Jesus, the guy made a mistake, drop it. I don't think he really believes that Calvin Johnson isn't the number 1 WR in the draft. When you get involved in the draft you can get deep enough into it that you don't even think about the picks way before you.

What is that for you.. about 17 posts today, and 16 of them are attached with a comment by me?

Listen, I hate Ice, but I will give you an Ice'ish comment.. on your very best day of existance, you couldn't hold your jockstrap to me when it comes to knowing football. that's not a me against the Billszone comment because this is a smart board and why I frequent here, that is 100% directed to you. I've forgotten more about football then you'll ever know, so dont go there.

So go back to your goofy smilies, you're anti-TD (though you dont even know what your talking about with that either) comments, and you're "moolarky" comments--- because that's about the extent to what you bring to any football conversation.

Now have a nice day, and leave me alone.

Compared to the type of comments you make like this - you make Ice sound like Bob Costas.

By the way, I wouldnt know cause I have lifetime ban from talking to him.. Is Ice gone from BZ or something?

I miss ICE and his stories about Tulsa. I wonder if he knows Meachem. Maybe he was his coach.

nevermind.. i hadnt read the rest of the thread.

so anyways.. is ANYONE concerned about the fact that meachum missed a whole year with a knee injury.. then sucked a dick for 2 years.. then all the sudden found love for the game when he realized it was put up or shut up time for the nfl draft?

i will pass on this guy.

I will absolutely take this guy if he is there in the 2nd. A great alternate to him in the 2nd would be Craig Davis. He got the measurables (size, speed, strength) to be a great complement to Evans. Davis and Meachem are the only tall WRs worth taking b/w the late 1st and the 3rd which is why I think we should definitely try to get one of them.

jacoby jones in the fourth.

if you want a guy with tons of "potential" and only one year of production.

And he grew up in the hood compared to a ranch in Oklahoma right? One bad year from a knee injury and I guess you suck? How many Vols games have you watched him play in?
