How do you guys think the Bills Draft Board will look like in the war room?

It's tough, but here's mine:

1. Calvin Johnson - No question
2. Adrian Peterson - Fills a huge hole
3. Jamaal Anderson - Would have to probably cut Denney, but would be in a 3 man rotation at DE
4. Alan Branch - Bills need a run stuffer. His stock seems to be dropping, but is a space eater.
5. Marshawn Lynch - Fills a huge hole. I was thinking of putting him at the 3rd spot, but figured it was too early. This is who I realistically want the bills to draft.
6. Patrick Willis - Fills another huge hole.
7. Amobi Okoye - A lot of potential. Not sold on Tripplett.
8. Gaines Adams - I am not sure he would be on their board after Kelsay
9. Adam Carriker - Can play any D-line position
10. Lawrence Timmons - A lot of upside
11. Dwayne Bowe - Adds another weapon for JP and the offense
12. Levi Brown - Plug him in at RG

So, I hope im answering your question directly. I honestly think that the Bills form the board based on ratings alone. I dont think they put who THEY want the most into the board. I think thats a matter of discussion when its our pick.

So, I think the big board will look much like many boards you could find on the net.

That makes sense. I wish there was more insight into the draft room and what goes on at pick time.

I was just trying to leave out or drop guys that wouldn't be a good fit for their pick.

There is too much time until the draft......

I think you overlooked a QB, or two.

I don't think the bills would take one this year.

I don't think so, either, but I'm sure they're on the board.

The five I think we would legitimately take, based on moves so far and needs we still have:

1. Calvin Johnson
2. Adrian Peterson
3. Patrick Willis
4. Marshawn Lynch
5. Adam Carriker

I just don't see us drafting any of the other big names up there. The other option would obviously be to trade down, but if we stick at #12, I expect one of these 5 guys to get their name called on draft day.

I can't believe that anyone thinks that Calvin Johnson will be on the board at 12th. Explains much.

CJ will be the first player taken.

Its not that anyone thinks he'll be there... on a big board you rate everybody (or in some cases everybody who fits a need), not just the guys that may fall to you.
