    Tight end and QB

I guarantee we use a draft pick on these positions in April.

      neither are needed.

We need a TE. But, i dont see us going TE anywhere before the 3rd round. And I doubt we go QB.

WE DO NOT NEED A TE. Royal and Cieslak should have much bigger years now that they are not blocking as much.

All the QB's contracts expire in '08, and only Royal and Everett are signed past '07 for the TE's. We'll grab a couple of rookies in the draft.

My source is clump's cap page.

And JP would be a moot point, anyway. Holcomb will be gone, and so may Nall. They'll draft a puppy to groom.

                    No... JP's up after '08. I'm sure he'll be extended after '07.

As for drafting a QB and TE in '07... I agree... We'll draft both in the 6th and 7th round.

Rounds 1 thru 4 will be WR, RB, LB, CB, LB

If he warrants it, they'll franchise JP if they can't workout a long-term deal. He's not going anywhere, unless by some chance they draft a late-round guy who shines if JP goes down and...oh wait. That already happened to someone else.

I do agree that they need a TE.

There won't be any problem extending JP and we aren't drafting a QB this year.
