Re: OT - Where to watch the Sabres in DC
Actually, im not sure if they do this anymore, but the Bills fans that hosted bills games at a bar in DC were doing the same thing making a deal with a bar outside of DC. yeah you can go to ESPN Zone if you feel like payin out the butt, but if you head out to either Ballston and go to Baileys, they have tons of tvs and is pretty decent. and there is also a Baileys in Crystal City by the pentagon, which is last time i checked was were the Bills fans held their Sabres get togethers.
Hope that helps.

Theres an Irish pub right near the Arena that was full of Sabres fans when I went.. forgot the name. But theres a video on youtube of us fans taking it over :)“You hold a players only meeting and get each guy to stand up and say what he can bring to the table... and if he doesn't, you punch him in the face.” ~~ Harry Neale, on how to fix the Sabres season.

I'd reccommend against ESPNZone because it's expensive and the food is mediocre. Baileys is cool if you don't mind the metro but Fado and Clydes are right near where you're going to be.
Also, since they're playing the Caps, there's a good chance you might just be able to watch it in your hotel room.
