Former Louisville running back Michael Bush had a new rod inserted into his broken leg Tuesday.
Bush had planned to run at the Cardinals' March 26 Pro Day but is now expected to be sidelined another "few months," according to the AP. There were hints that Bush wasn't healing correctly, as he was limping on the sidelines of Louisville's Orange Bowl win over Wake Forest and skipped all of the Combine drills. Bush is now less likely to make an impact in his rookie season and might begin it on the PUP list. He also could fall out of the first two rounds of the draft.

, but maybe take a flyer on him in the 5th or 6th. I think he's done to many if's with him.

I'd gladly gamble a 5th on him, and if he's PUP this season, he may just fall that far. I can't see anyone using a day one pick on him if he can't play this year. Will he slid through the 4th? Debatable. If he did though...

I think we need a feature back who can play immediately, and I think we'll get one in the first or second round. We really don't have the luxury of waiting for Bush to get healthy, and we can better use a 4th or 5th pick at another position.

If true, I think hes now a day two guy. Id still watch him closely but not on day one.

If TD were here, he'd take Bush to show everyone how smart he is.

I can think of worse places to have a rod inserted...

Every pick is important this year. Our 5th last year was a starter. Mr. Bush is officially done.

I don't think we have a 5th. Gave it up for Hargrove.

were gonna be drafting 2 RB's 1 in the 1st or 2nd the other later on if bush is there at our later 3rd or 4th we should do it Peterson OR Lynch and then with Bush, after all ya can't think Shaud Williams will be any impact this year and A-Train is decent but is known for getting hurt.

Id burn a 6th on him but no earlier, the guy's leg is beyond screwed up and there is no telling what is going to be needed after this surgery.
