The Associated Press reports Oakland Raiders RB Dominic Rhodes pleaded guilty to reckless driving Wednesday, March 21, after prosecutors dropped drunken driving charges against him. Rhodes was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended. He received credit for two days.

Another reason why Marv didn't pursue him heavier. Or if you want to say it, another "I told ya so"! Wouldn't it be interesting to know if we really passed on him due to character issues?

wow that is amazing. everybody i know that has had a dwi has had the ****ing book thrown at them (jail, community service, classes, license suspended, 3-4k in fines) and this guy gets off scott free. amazing country we're living in.

That's why so many of those guys are repeat offenders.

Why, because they get raped for every penny they have while a millionaire gets his charges reduced and basically a slap on the wrist?

I got ya, misinterpreted your previous post.

I just think it's ludacris that these asswipes get off with basically nothing and John Doe gets treated like a ****ing murderer.

I've never even heard of a DWI getting pled down to wreckless driving. What a f'n joke.

I have but the two cases it happened in the person just "happened" to be very wealthy.

If you have the money to drag it out in court then 9-10 times they'll just settle.
