Basically, Rod Woodson had this draft

12 RB Lynch
43 CB McCauley
74 LB Black

Said nothing of our second 3rd rounder, Me personnaly would Like a DT Like M. Thomas!

Black is your perfect Cover 2 backer. Had an amazing combine with an incredible 41.5 vertical jump, 1.55 in the 10 yard, 6.88 in the 3 cone and 4.45 in the 40. 6-1 3/4 240lbs. Played inside at New Mexico but may play outside in the pro's. Not a physical guy but blazing speed and makes big plays all the time.

McCauley may not be a bad pick if the FO feels Youboty isn't ready ...

Marcus has an outstanding combinaton of size, strength and speed for a cornerback. His size and physical play, along with his leaping ability, allows him to matchup against bigger, stronger receivers, while his speed (ran a 4.31 at the 05 pro day) allows him to stay with faster receivers that line up against him. He has good recovery speed and change of direction ability. Marcus will step up and support the run. He is a hard hitter and a solid tackler who excels at making plays in the open field. Marcus isn't a player who comes up with a bunch of interceptions. This is in part due to the fact that teams at times rarely threw his way. He didn't play against top competition on a consistent basis in the WAC, but he has proven he can matchup against the better receivers in the nation. As a junior he was matched up against Dwayne Jarrett of USC and held him to 37 yards on 5 receptions. Marcus was picked on alot as a senior and had a poor season which could have an adverse effect on his draft stock. However, his combination of size and speed cannot be ignored and I don't expect him to fall too far on draft day.

Woodson was pretty sold on Lynch... he was asked about whether they should consider trading up for AP and he said it wasn't worth it. Personally I think the guy's a tool, but whatever. For what its worth, I like what little I've seen of Black.

Get me Marshawn, AP or Pat Willis in Round 1, and I won't complain about anything.

Ditto. See my sig. At this point, I'd even take Willis ahead of Lynch.

I like the Lynch and Black pick but in rd 2 I would look at Zack Miller, or Ben Patrick then take Black in the 3rd

I am not a fan of using our 2nd round pick on a CB. We can get one with either of our two 3rd rounders. I still say Patrick Willis in the 1st with the best RB in the 2nd or Lynch in the 1st with best LB in the 2nd. Then and only then can you go get your CB.

Plenty of good CB's late in rd 3 or rd 4.........Jackson (Syracuse), Jackson (Iowa St), or Wilson (Baylor)

I thinbk Jackson has a chance to go in the 2nd round.
