I have 1993 Buffallo Bills Jersey, and was wondering how to tell if it is an authentic game jersery, if any one can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Well now they sew on the letters/numbers. I dont know what they did back then.

The jersey I have has sewn on letters and numbers, I think it is authentic

was given as a gift, said it was from the 1993 AFC championship game thats what I was told. I'm trying to research the truth of that now.

So I know its of importance, It was looked at and I was told it could very well be the AFC jersey

the official ones in 93 I believe had screen printed numbers and a Champion logo on the sleeve, I bought an authentic Jim Kelly in 94 from the stadium and it was screen printed and had the champion logo and the nfl logo on the base of the collar.

The Jersey has the NFl logo on the collar, and the Champion logo on the sleeves. what do you mean by screen printing?

the numbers are not sewn on and there is a nameplate on the back with the players name screened on, only reason I mentioned that last part as your ebay pic looks like the letters are sewn on

If the numbers are sewn on then it is not authentic. Like Bufftexas already mentioned, the numbers were screened on, not sewn.

In order to be authentic, it needs to have a tag on the bottom under the Champion tag that reads:

Designed and tailored for the Buffalo Bills of the American Football Conference, 1993.

Anything else is just a knockoff.
