    Adams having knee problems?

"Adams' agent Angelo Wright flew to Buffalo yesterday to continue negotiations face to face, accoring to WGR's Chris Brown this morning on the radio.

In the meantime, though, he says he was talking to a colleague in Oakland, who has sources that say Sam Adams has a degenerative knee condition that caused him to miss most of the practices last season, and had him playing fewer snaps overall than his backup, including the Super Bowl where he was invisible."

Hopefully this isn't the case, he's a good player and I really want him.
    Beware the sack master!

It won't be the end of the world if we don't get Adams. If he won't play for TD's price he won't be here. I think thats what the big hold up is

That's why I am averse to signing guys like Adams, 6'3"/330 to L/T deals once they hit 30 or so. The wear and tear on their knees is horrendous and you never know how long before he becomes a P/T player.

I would imagine that he'll be fine for at least one season though.

Agreed, TD will not overpay for his services. If he passes the physical however, sign him up for a contract that allows us to cut him after this season if issues arise, then draft a DT w/ our first or second pick.

We desperately need a DT this season. It's still our biggest hole and so far hasn't been filled.
Replace Donahoe with Modrak and fire the entire coaching staff!

      Then let's go to Disneyworld!

      GO BILLS!!!

Well if he has that condition then I don't want him to take up wasted cap space. Go Bills!

Adams can't surprise the Bills with that...

When a player is about to be signed the team gives them a thorough physical... The chances that something as big as that being missed are nearly impossible. The physicals are not the turn your head and cough variety... anyone who has joined the service and can remember their physical at enlistment will have a better idea of what it’s about (only its even more thorough than that).

Didn't the Bills go through this with Ted Washington? There were concerns about arthritis in his ankles, TD let him go to CHI and he has been hobbled by injuries. Maybe Adams is looking for that big payday because he knows that his time is running out.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't repeat myself.

There still is Chester Mcglockton available and if you want to really roll the dice the Bills can wait until June 1st and sign Sean Gilbert when gets cut. I am leary of Gilbert holding up physically.
Heck if we get Mcglockton relitively cheap we could go after Holiday or Douglas. Of course I heard Douglas is getting closer to signing with Seattle.

I would love to bring in Holliday! He is big and he can put pressure on the QB. He is still relatively young also. Go Bills!
