Granted I am a n00b when it comes to hockey and I still don't know a damn thing about the sport I have to rant. I just heard on PTI that the NHL is considering taking fighting out of hockey. To that I say **** you NHL. Remove fighting and you'll remove fans.

Posturing. The NHL couldn't find their own asses with their hands if you put them in their back pockets for them.

They don't need to remove fighting, they need to remove cheap shots.

I wouldn't miss the fighting at all. You know, they are trying to build this fast skating game...then the fighting just slows it down. It's not like there is an occasional fight because guys are hot heads...fights happen because a team wants to slow the game down. I wouldn't miss it...the game would get better. And fighting is not required in hockey as demonstrated by countless other leagues and tournaments.
